Founded in 2020 Big Star Music Academy is dedicated to offering affordable quality private music lessons in a fun relaxing atmosphere. Whether you're a beginner or advanced we have you covered! We have gathered together a team of the very best instructors from San Antonio and surrounding areas bringing together decades of combined experience. We truly have some of the best and we look forward to sharing our passion for music with your student.*

Big Star Music is also the home of Big Star Productions, We have a beautiful stage for rent for Artists and Bands needing a place to rehearse, or do a Facebook Live streaming event.​


*We have a large roster of teachers at our disposal and not every one of them is listed. If your passion is to learn to sing or play a brass or woodwind instrument, or even something as simple and fun as a ukulele, we also have teachers we can reach out to and call for that as well.

Owner

Mike grew up immersed in the music scene of Los Angeles California. Mike has been a successful entrepreneur for the last 25 years. He is the proud father of three boys and family is the most important thing to him. Two of his sons are founding members of the critically acclaimed rock band " Quaranteen" who just won the San Antonio battle of bands 2020 and will headline at Fiesta. Mike will be the first to tell you that the success of the band is directly linked to the care and instruction his kids received in private music education and He looks forward to seeing other young musicians follow their dreams with our help at Big Star Music Academy.
